Blood Syndicate returns to comics and Milestone gets animated in 2022

The new Milepost Initiative program to "nam, school, spotlight, and invest" the next generation of Black and divers creators in the comic Word industry wasn't the only if Milestone announcement from 2021's DC Fandome.

In a treatment moderated by doer Echo Kellum (Curtis Holt/Mr. Terrific on Arrow), Milestone Media producer Reggie Hudlin and Milepost cobalt-founder Denys Cowan announced more new projects from their DC partnership and the Dakota Universe humorous book universe of discourse, including a virgin Blood Pool comic Holy Writ series for 2022.

Hudlin and Cowan did not announce the creative squad but the publishing house did sack a promotional image and the duet talked about how Blood Syndicate has been the Milepost property fans give birth been clamoring for.

Originally published for 35 issues from 1993 to 1996 and created by the unpunctual Milestone co-founder Dwayne McDuffie, writer Ivan Velez Jr., and Cowan, the Milepost team book marked a loosely affiliated 'ring' of superheroes, just about of whom were former street gang up members WHO gained powers during the Milestone 'Big Get it on' origin event and used their powers for the greater good.

Home Entertainment are development a Milestone animated movie founded on a screenplay by Hardware: Season One author Brandon Thomas (who is also co-writer of the future other Aquamen DC serial).

"This has been the thing that Milepost fans have been dreaming about for a long time, and we're happy to give information technology to you, last," Cowan says during the Fandome outcome.

As the promo image featuring Static, Rocket, Icon, and Hardware released by DC Saturday indicates, Cowan represented the film Eastern Samoa being about to a greater extent than one Milestone character, suggesting it's more of a Dakotaverse film than a solo story.
